Hey Nick, I have been trying to email you bro, your email box is full! I have the form suggestions for you, so let me know when you have some space and I will send them again.
Now for my Christmas present! My wife is just about the coolest, and when I got home from work last night she told me to pick out what piece of gear I need the most, and get it.
Ahhhhh....gear.
So I took a little surf on over to www.irongladiators.com squat king Brent Mikesell's webpage, and started looking. I need a new bench shirt because my Metal Viking is 2 sizes to big, and I as I get stronger and my pec and shoulder get better, I need a tighter shirt. I was kicking around poly or denim. Denim is so cool and it really pisses the anti-gear dudes off, but I don't think I am ready for denim yet, so I looked through the Inzer poly shirts, and after some thought and deliberation, I decided on the double ply Rage X, open back with velcro, and grid stitching. Hee Hee! I am like a kid in a candy store and now I wait patiently for that little black thing of beauty to show up on my doorstep.
Sunday morning I head north to my mom and dads for Christmas. I bought my pops a handcrafted hand saw from England. I think he is going to really dig it!
Till next time, Merry Christmas and be safe-

Did you like the Metal Viking in terms of its groove and pop off the chest? I was thinking about the Viking but got the Bash instead, though I don't know if I'm going to keep it because the arms on the thing are very tight. I know a few guys that have the double RageX - get ready for some learnin'.

Brian-
Truth be told, with the shirt being loose enough that I can touch 275 in it, I couldn't really tell you much about the Viking's groove or pop. I did experiment with it a little bit by jacking it down a ton and I acutally got it so I couldn't touch 500 in it, but it didn't have much off the chest. It is a forgiving shirt with a larger groove. Now, my training partner has a regular metal pro bench shirt and I think that has much better chest pop then the viking, but the groove is very specific, and you have to find it or you won't get jack out of it. We also have a bash, and so far the guys like it. Our 50+ year old just hit 450 in it like it was nothing, so I think the bash is a good shirt.
Basically, I needed a new tighter shirt, and we have so many metals floating around that I decided to try something new and get the RageX. I have heard the thing is hard to learn, but once you learn it, there is nothing like it. I am looking forward to many dumped bench presses!
