Very good day. Felt solid and strong. I am rethinking going back to 220 because I feel so much better at this heavier weight. Weighed in around 238 this morning, and the weights just felt light.
-Squats: straight up, no box. barx10, 135x5, 185x5, 245x3, 295x1, 335x1, added belt 385x1, 425x1, 475x1 (easy raw rep. Dammit, that gear training makes you weak raw! LOL!), added briefs 515x1, 565x1, 605x1, 655x1, 700x1. PR in briefs!!! Came up much easier then I expected, and it felt light on my back. Very good indeed. I think these 4 week waves are working-3 weeks of box work with special bars, 4th week straight bar. Was going to go full gear but decided not to. I wanted that 700 in briefs only.
-Conventional deads: workset 525x5 belt only.
-Reverse Hypers: 400 x10, x10, x10
-Glute-hams: 26 pound kettlebell x8, x8, bodyweight x8
Supersetted with:
-Standing abs: 120 x10, x10, x10.
Done. Supersetting was a bad idea. It was hard.
Time for food, ice cold beer, and FOOTBALL!!!!
