-Squats: 700 x1, x1, 750 x1, x1, 800 xmiss. Took 800 down, was a little high but came back up. Right near lockout my hips shot forward and I dumped it right off my back. 800 pounds falling 2 feet into suspension straps is not cool. It bent my nice new $400+ Ironmind S-Cubed bar into a cambered bar. That is now officially 3 bent bars.
Still not sure what I am going to do with this damn squat. I should have learned my lesson last time and got in my gear more, but I didn't, and now it is do or die time. My second rep with 750 was good and deep and my form was good, so that will most likely be my opener. My other option is next week, MY LAST TRAINING WEEK, try to get into a suit a size smaller and see if I get more pop out of the hole. Lance's suit is so big that I felt good with 800, but I felt if I buried it I wouldn't of made it out of the hole. Maybe with the tighter suit I can get more pop and handle the weight better.
Either way I will be opening with 750 and going from there. At least my bench and dead have been on this time around...
