-Conventional Deadlifts: 620 x1, x1, x1. Belt only. All of them were nice and controlled, same speed from floor to lockout. I could have doubled the first 2 sets, but I am doing singles this week and next then it is MEET TIME! For the third single I tried something stupid, I actually tried to pull slow. I dipped down, then began pulling slow until the bar came off the ground, then pulled it to lockout. It was about a 20 second deadlift, but I did it to see where my sticking point would be. The good news is, there was NONE. Not sure what weight I will use next week, I will go by feel and do 3 singles.
-Shrugs: 600 x10, x10, x10. Belt and straps.
Getting down to crunch time. Feeling good, just need to get a good squat in this weekend and I will be set. I am very confident this time around with all 3 lifts, I really don't have a lift that is lacking. The time is now to get my Elite, no more fucking around.
246 this morning. Weight is holding nicely. The Dry Shred will take off the couple pounds to get me at 242 and the rice oligodextrin should help me get back up to around 250 come lifting time.
