This report is from Marianne, Loz's girlfriend.
"Yesterdays first event was fingals fingers. Loz did 4 out of the 5 but in a time that was 25 seconds faster than Britain's last year! So a good PB. He nearly did the fith finger but ran out of time. He placed 3rd in this which was a great result!
In the afternoon it was truck pull. Loz broke his toe on the very first pull on the rope which was really bad luck :-( He carried on though and managed to get 4th place. We think he would have been third if not for this - Marius and Shaw did amazing times.
After a lot of painkillers and a sleepless night, todays event was the squat. Loz obviously wanted to go for it as you can't pull out of World's unless you're half dead!!
The weights were: 260kg, 280kg, 300kg, 315kg, 330kg, 350kg, 365kg.
Loz managed the fastest time of the day!!!! He came first in his group and accross all groups beating Marius and Siders too!!!
Results below: SQUAT LIFT

Looking good at the moment! But axle tomorrow so we'll see what happens."
Terry Hollands is winning his group.
Derek Poundstone leads his group with Mark Felix in a comfortable 2nd place.
I am not too sure about the other groups but there is no doubt the British are putting on quite the show.
